Financial IT Specialist Adopts CentraStage’s ISO27001 and ISO9001 Accredited Device Management Technology
London (1 August, 2013) – CentraStage, the IT management-from-the-cloud provider, today announced that financial technology specialists, Sentronex, has joined its growing roster of corporate clients.
Sentronex has built a reputation for being the number one provider of outsourced IT services to London’s financial community;providing award-winning IT support, disaster recovery, IT consultancy, hosting, connectivity and cloud based solutions.
CentraStage’s cloud-based device management software will provide Sentronex with centralised IT and asset management services, as well as remote support for its customers. Key to Sentronex selecting CentraStage’s technology was their recent ISO 27001 and 9001 accreditation.
Mark Parnell-Hopkinson, Partner and Managing Director of Sentronex explains: “Information security and quality assurance are absolutely key in financial services, so the fact that CentraStage held ISO 27001 and 9001 accreditation was central to our decision to buy their software. Given that CentraStage is a relatively young, true cloud-based business, not only were we impressed by the maturity of the product but also by the maturity of the business itself.”
CentraStage will help Sentronex manage their growing customer base more proactively, reducing downtime and maximising efficiency. With CentraStage providing centralised visibility and control of all IT assets through a single, integrated cloud solution Sentronex can not only ensure that all devices are secure, patched, stable and compliant; but it also provides their first, second and third line technical specialists and engineers with ultra-fast remote support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from anywhere to any device.
Mark Parnell-Hopkinson explains: “Traditionally, Sentronex used a mix of technologies to provide support and manage our customers’ endpoints. Our remote support offering was fulfilled using remote desktop connections and a mix of 3rd party applications. We wanted a single, scalable, cloud-based solution rather than a traditional on-premise device management solution; an integrated technology that meant we didn’t have to use different products for different tasks, such as monitoring, software deployment and remote support, and something that was clearly built with the service provider in mind.
“Centrastage ticks all of the boxes. It’s going to simplify our operations massively and as a result, save our engineers a considerable amount of time.”
Christian Nagele, CentraStage CEO, explains: “Sentronex are servicing clients in a highly regulated industry, meaning not only did our technology have to meet their requirements, but our information security and quality assurance credentials needed to be front and centre.
“As a fast-growing cloud-based technology company it is not always about your feature-set, it is about your overall business credibility – ISO 27001 and 9001 are not easy accreditations to come by, so it is wonderful to see them playing a part of helping win great new customers, like Sentronex.”
