MAZARS AND YCCC EXTEND PARTNERSHIP INTO FIFTH YEARPublished : 8 years ago, on
The Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC) and Mazars are delighted to announce an extension to their ongoing partnership.
International accountancy and advisory firm Mazars has been the principal partner with the Club since 2014. Now in its fifth consecutive year, the partnership will run until the end of 2018, with the option to extend to 2019.
Mazars’ renewed commitment will see them continue to enjoy all the benefits of a major rights package, which has helped the firm significantly develop and strengthen its brand awareness across its core markets in the UK. Activities include client and prospect entertaining, which has provided fantastic opportunities to engage with the Yorkshire business community, as well as the exposure associated with appearing on all of the players’ match wear and training apparel.
Andy Dawson, the Club’s Commercial Director, said “The longevity of this partnership demonstrates that it has been a successful relationship that continues to be mutually fruitful for both parties. We have got to know the Mazars team very well over the years and we’re delighted to continue to share this journey with a business and people that share similar values to our own.”
Mazars, who have shared the Club’s back-to-back County Championship successes in 2014 and 2015 with clients, contacts and employees across the country, have even played at the revered Headingley ground. Having started as a single accountant in 1940, the accountancy and advisory firm are now truly international with offices in 79 countries around the globe, employing 18,000 professionals. In the UK, Mazars has over 1700 employees and around 140 partners and provides a broad range of services to clients of all sizes, from SME’s to mid-caps and global players, as well as start-ups and public organisations at every stage of their development.
Ian Wrightson, Partner and UK Head of People & Culture at Mazars said: “We are proud to be the principal partner of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club. It’s a really strong cultural and strategic fit, with both of us having a clear focus on talent and excellence. I’m delighted to be extending our relationship again for next year”.
