CHESTER BUSINESS COMPARISON SITE EXPANDS ITS TEAMPublished : 8 years ago, on
Businesscomparison.com is welcoming two new key members of staff to assist the fintech company on the road to growth success. StephSalusbury fills the position of Channel Manager for Insurance and Energy whilst Laura Thomas has been appointed as Channel Manager for Business Finance. Both will play a fundamental role in the development of the enterprise that was recently awarded SME Website of the Year 2016.
The growing price comparison website, which helps businesses compare deals on banking, loans, insurance and commercial mortgages, has had more than 36,000 users in the past year.
Steph started at MoneySupermarket.com in 2008 with a sales role in energy for 3 years before moving onto to operations for 4 years. She says of her new role:
“I predominately have an energy background however I understand the benefits of using a comparison service to obtain the best deals for all types of enquiries from home and car insurance to energy, without the need of going direct.
“My ambition for Businesscomparison.com is to continue its success, being crowned SME Website of the Year 2016, offering more scope to compare products from business insurance to van insurance. I look forward to maintaining existing relationships and developing new opportunities. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
In her position as Channel Manager – Business Finance, Laura will be responsible for the commercial finance strategy, building affinity partnerships and increasing the company’s share in the online comparison market. She has previously worked at Norton and Funding Solutions and was a Regional Development Director at Together Money, with 20 years of business development and operational management experience in the secured and unsecured lending and broking sector. She says:
“I am delighted to take up this appointment, Businesscomparison.com is an innovative young company with a very focussed vision and expertise in the digital lead and broking sector. I am looking to build on the current successes of the company and be part of their bright, exciting future.”
Fresh from gaining national recognition the team, based at the Steam Mill in Chester, is now looking to take on new challenges.
