FALCON GROUP FURTHER EXPANDS UK OPERATIONS – ADDING RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE NORTHPublished : 8 years ago, on
The leading specialist financier appoints Scott Bradley, previously Bibby Financial Services’ Head of Trade Finance North, to spearhead growth with northern-based businesses.
Falcon Group has strengthened its UK team with the appointment of Scott Bradley as Business Development Manager, UK North. He will be charged with growing Falcon’s client base in the north of the country, providing financing to mid-market companies experiencing constraints with respect to access to traditional bank funding, especially those involved in exports.
Bradley, who brings more than 30 years’ experience from across the banking and trade finance industries, joins from Bibby Financial Services, where he was the Northern Head of Trade Finance Sales. He previously worked in senior business development roles for GE Capital, Crédit Agricole and Five Arrows Commercial Finance.
“The north of the UK is home to some of the country’s most innovative and exciting businesses – yet funding is scarce,” says Bradley. “Falcon, offering something truly unique and innovative, can certainly plug this gap and help these companies grow both domestically and internationally. I’m looking forward to presenting them with the ‘Falcon story’.”
Emma Clark, Head of Business Development, UK and Europe, at Falcon, says: “Scott brings an impressive combination of banking and trade finance sector experience along with excellent industry contacts. We welcome him as a strong addition to our business development team as we grow and expand across the UK.”
Founded over 20 years ago, Falcon Group is one of the largest global providers of specialist finance solutions, supporting companies across the entire supply chain – from procuring purchases, to financing end-buyers in target export markets – through its eight offices around the world.
More recently, Falcon has partnered with UKEF and global insurance broker, Aon, with a particular focus on assisting UK businesses seeking export and import finance solutions.
