The global expansion of automotive video has resulted in a new senior hire at CitNOW. BMW UK’s Ollie Parsons joins the team as UK Head of Sales and Client Services with immediate effect.
Automotive and technology specialist Ollie brings over a decade of experience with blue-chip vehicle manufacturers, including two stints with BMW where he was most recently General Manager of Aftersales Strategy and Planning.
As automotive video continues to grow, Ollie will be tasked with maintaining the momentum of UK sales and client retention, as well as managing CitNOW’s field based Product Experts and Account Managers.
Ollie’s appointment is announced following the promotion of CitNOW’s former UK Sales Manager, Sarah Sylvester to Head of Business Development. The UK and international sales teams will continue to be led by Global Sales Director, Gordon Grant.
Ollie commented: “Having followed CitNOW for a number of years from a manufacturer’s perspective, it’s clear to see how technology is changing the way we buy, sell and maintain our cars. Being on the frontline of driving that change is a hugely exciting prospect and a natural next step.”
Gordon Grant, Global Sales Director at CitNOW added: “Having Ollie on board will bolster our ambitious growth plans here in our home market, which in turn will enable us to put more focus and energy into the ever-growing global opportunity.
“Ollie joins at a particularly poignant time, not only because the business is growing but the technology remit is expanding and he will play a key role in introducing our newest product – Web Video & Smart Image – to retailers in the coming months.”
CitNOW is established in 39 countries and works with 37 OEM brands worldwide. The business secured Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 status for the second year in a row and is among the top 20% of the fastest growing companies in Europe, according to the latest Financial Times FT1000 listings.
