High profile appointments for Atradius UK teamPublished : 7 years ago, on
Trade credit insurer, Atradius, has made two high-profile appointments within its UK team at its Cardiff HQ and Midlands Regional Hub.
Tom Danson, 27, has been appointed as Head of Commercial for Atradius’ Midlands Regional Hub. Tom joined the Atradius London team from Aviva AXA in March 2014 as a Senior Sales Development Manager. Well regarded in the London market and the wider industry, Tom has developed a broad knowledge of trade credit insurance and has worked with a number of high-profile accounts to deliver credit risk solutions to enable profitable trade.
In his new role, Tom will be responsible for developing and retaining the Atradius portfolio in the Midlands Region. Born and educated in Leicester, Tom knows the Midlands region.
Tom said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for me to lead and develop the Atradius team in my home region. The Midlands is a fast-changing and developing part of the country and I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
Richard Reynolds, 44, will be taking on the role of Head of Strategic Accounts. Formerly Head of SME Sales and Regional Manager for the Atradius Midlands region, Richard has been with Atradius for over 25 years. He brings with him a wealth of experience in all aspects of trade credit insurance and a strong reputation within the industry.
Based in the Cardiff HQ the Strategic Accounts Team manages a high-profile portfolio of key accounts. Richard will be responsible for the continued delivery of bespoke service excellence and building and developing strategic relationships.
Richard said: “The 25 years I’ve been with Atradius have given me the opportunity to work in varying roles in different areas of the UK. Each has come with its own challenges and opportunities, this new role will give me the opportunity to bring what I have learned during those 25 years to a new area of the business.”
