SENIOR INSURANCE EXECUTIVES TO GATHER THIS OCTOBER AT THE INAUGURAL INSURANCE PENETRATION WEST AFRICA (IPWA) SUMMIT IN DUBAIPublished : 9 years ago, on
The Inaugural Insurance Penetration West Africa Summit (IPWA) will take place from 21-22 October 2015 at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, Dubai, UAE. The event is organised by Konnect2Africa Ltd and supported by NIC Ghana, GIZ, Micro Insurance Network, and the Ghanaian Insurers Association.
The IPWA Summit will bring together regulators, ministers, insurance professionals and foreign investors to discuss the opportunities, strategies and challenges around the region.
The future of regulation in the region will be addressed by the Chairman of the event, Immediate Past Commissioner for Insurance, MrFola Daniel, NAICOM. Followed by key presentations from Miss Lydia Bawa, NIC Ghana and a Senior Insurance Specialist, ConférenceInterafricaine des Marchésd’Assurances (CIMA).
The proliferation of mobile technology in the region has created an unprecedented opportunity for insurers to increase penetration to the masses in collaboration with telecommunication providers.
