WHITE HORSE CAPITAL APPOINTS FORMER SENIOR PARTNER AT A LEADING INTERNATIONAL LAW FIRM AS BOARD ADVISORPublished : 8 years ago, on
New appointment brings close to 40 years’ Legal, SME and TMT experience to the team
White Horse Capital, the TMT investment and advisory business, is pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Stedman, former senior partner at leading international law firm Nabarro LLP, as a Board Advisor.
Graham brings close to 40 years Legal, SME and TMT experience to White Horse Capital, having acted as a trusted board advisor to SMEs and entrepreneurs as part of his role as counsel to a wide variety of growth companies. During his legal career Graham has advised numerous SMEs and high-growth tech businesses on their expansion strategies and on all aspects of business fundraising and corporate finance activity.
Graham was also responsible for establishing the dedicated Entrepreneurs’ Group at Nabarro LLP. Under his guidance, the group developed an innovative suite of fixed-price legal products and was instrumental in closing numerous equity funding rounds for high-growth businesses, many of them in the TMT sector.
While Senior Partner of Nabarro LLP, which earlier this month completed its merger with Olswang and CMS Cameron McKenna, Graham oversaw annual revenue growth in excess of £125m and secured a double digit increase in profitability for each year of his tenure.
Graham also chaired Nabarro’s partnership board and was responsible for developing the strategic direction of the firm, overseeing its implementation and representing the firm to the marketplace. He was also a partner in the firm’s corporate group, advising on all aspects of corporate finance transactions, corporate regulation and compliance.
Ian Merricks, Managing Partner of White Horse Capital, commented:
“We are very pleased to welcome Graham as a board advisor to White Horse Capital. Drawing on his lengthy career as a corporate lawyer and more recently in management as a senior partner, Graham has a wealth of experience in the legal sector, generally, but in particular with high growth businesses across a range of investment, M&A and exits, where he has pioneered an entrepreneurial approach to legal issues. We look forward to working with Graham and benefitting from his extensive industry knowledge.”
Graham Stedman commented:
“I am hugely excited to have joined White Horse Capital as a Board Advisor to support their continued work with growing businesses. I am impressed by the achievements and ambition of the White Horse Capital team, whom I have known for some years, building their position as a leading advisor to high growth technology and digital media businesses across a range of potentially complex investment and M&A transactions.”
