Steward Redqueen is expanding its international networkPublished : 5 years ago, on
Steward Redqueen is a consultancy boutique focused on impact management and sustainable entrepreneurship. It services multinational corporations, (development) financial institutions and non-profits. The consultancy, which was awarded“ Best impact and best impact and sustainability advisory Europe 2019”by Global Banking and Finance Review, has announced further expansion of its network.
Stockholm
This month the company is opening its rep-office in Stockholm, Sweden. The operation will be run by Niclas Düring, who joined as an Associate Partner. Niclas has 15 years of experience in sustainability, private equity, development impact and strategy consulting. Before joining Steward Redqueen Niclas spent ten years with Development Finance Institutions – as Portfolio Director at Swedfund International in Stockholm, and before that as ESG Manager at CDC Group in London. His prior experience includes McKinsey & Company, Celerant/Hitachi Consulting, and the World Bank/IFC. With this experience, Niclas is well-positioned to expand our current portfolio of projects in the Scandinavian markets.
Singapore
Last year Steward Redqueen opened a branch in Singapore, headed by Tias van Moorsel (Director Asian Markets). Clients clearly appreciate our commitment to the region. Our first year exceeded our expectations in terms of new projects, clients, and connections not only in Singapore, but also in Vietnam, Philippines, Bangladesh, and India. Therefore we are exploring different growth scenarios including hiring local staff.
Alliance with Qbera Capital
This year we also agreed our first international alliance. We are teaming up with London-based Qbera Capital LLP, an independent Asset Management & Corporate Advisory firm, to service clients in emerging and frontier markets.Weareconvincedthattheinterplaybetweencorporationsandinvestorsisofvitalimportancetomake business work for society. By combining Qbera’s track-record in financial advisory with ours insustainability and impact strategies, weofferintegratedservicestoabroadrangeofclientsallowingthemtogrowtheirbusinesses and contribute to development. We look forward to further expanding our presence in emerging markets and this alliance will allow us to do just that.
Exploring new opportunities
With our head-office in Haarlem (The Netherlands), our presence in Barcelona (Spain), the representation in Princeton (USA) and the recent expansions, we are covering many of our clients’ geographies. As our business is growing, we are constantly looking for new opportunities. In terms of other geographies Africa is a logical next step. We are also exploring new alliances generating added value for our current and new client base. Everything we do is guided by our mission: “making business work for society”.
