The SimplyBiz Group’s Centra investment system attracts 1500 users since launchPublished : 7 years ago, on
Centra, the end-to-end investment system from The SimplyBiz Group, has signed up 1500 users since its launch in March.
The bespoke system, which is powered by Defaqto Engage, is offered at no cost to advisory firms working with The SimplyBiz Group. It offers financial planning, integrated product research and suitability reports within a single system, with the ability to use a ready-made complete centralised investment proposition (CIP), or for a firm to apply their own CIP.
The Group has also announced that Chris Fleming, Square Mile’s Investment Services Director, has joined the SimplyBiz Investment Services investment committee, which has oversight of the Centra system. Chris will be offering insight into strategic asset allocation on the committee, alongside other industry heavyweights including Ken Rayner, Pan Andreas and Rory Percival.
Chris will appear as keynote speaker at a series of forthcoming SimplyBiz Investment Services Conferences, designed to help advisers develop their investment proposition and understand how a wide array of investment and platform solutions can work for them. Other companies appearing at the round of twelve events, which take place during June and July, include Intellflo, Aegon, Premier Asset Management, Verbatim, Orbis, Prudential, Close Brothers, Santander Asset Management and BMO Global Asset Management.
Dan Russell, Managing Director of SimplyBiz Investment Services and chair of the investment committee, commented:
“Centra was built based on feedback from Members of The SimplyBiz Group, so we knew it would be popular with the firms who use our services, however, I’m delighted by the speed and enthusiasm with which it has been embraced by advisers. We’re running regular workshops and online training to ensure that all 1500 users so far know how to get the most from the system, and we’re hearing from lots of Members that Centra has already had a significant and positive impact on the way in which they’re conducting investment business.
“I’m also really happy to welcome Chris Fleming to the SimplyBiz Investment Services investment committee. He brings a wealth of experience and technical insight to what is already a highly skilled and knowledgeable group, and I’m excited to have Chris join us at this vital point on our journey.”
